Miles & Unitus w Community Outreach

On Monday October 10^th Miles Fiberglass helped Unitus Community Credit Union employees & their families with Unitus annual community outreach program known as “Barbra Leonard Day of Service.” This program is a day of volunteerism dedicated to Barbra Leonard who served as Unitus first female board chair. Being that Miles is a woman owned business, Miles thought it would be a perfect program to help with. The event Miles participated in was held at Clackamas Services. Volunteers assisted in the warehouse helping unload food supplies as well as diapers and toiletries to be ready to box for distribution to needy families in and around the community!

Unitus has been a part of the Oregon community since 1937, when a group of Pacific Telephone & Telegraph employees pooled their resources to provide affordable loans to their co-workers. Today, Unitus serves 15 counties in Oregon and the entire state of Washington with a commitment to innovation, inclusiveness, and providing inspirational service.
