Led by our passionate advocate for education, Lowell Miles for over 25 years, we seized this opportunity to contribute to a cause close to our hearts. We have now four endowments contributing to CCC. The Rise Up luncheon was an unforgettable experience, brimming with hope, determination, and unwavering support for students in need.
Clackamas Community College, in collaboration with various compassionate individuals and organizations, orchestrated an outstanding fundraising effort. Together, we rallied behind the cause, propelling it to unprecedented heights. Through the overwhelming generosity of the attendees, we successfully raised over $90,000 for student emergency grants!
"The impact of these funds cannot be overstated. Many of our students face daily hardships, struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Rent, transportation, books, and child care expenses often become insurmountable obstacles on their educational journey. But thanks to the collective spirit of giving, we can step in and alleviate some of these burdens."
