Clackamas Community College Foundation Board honored Lowell Miles at the Presidents Award Dinner, July 28th, 2022.
This is the first Presidents Award Dinner held by the College Foundation. The event was a huge success and will continue to be held bi-annually. The dinner was held at The Oregon Golf Club with a kickoff at 5:00pm for sponsors and honorees followed by a reception and dinner.
The Foundation honored Lowell Miles for his 30-year service on the Foundation Board along with Alice Noris and Paul Winklesky also retiring from the Board. Clare Hansen & Alexa Patti were Honored Alumni and Terry & Ceryl Holden and Patti Serres were Honored Communitarians.
Jack Hammond, a good friend of Lowell’s for over 30 years and fellow board member, presented Lowell with the award. Unfortunately Lowell could not make it to accept the award due to health reasons, so Lori Olund (Lowell’s daughter) and Alex Luchak (Lowell’s grandson) were present to accept the award. Lowell stated, “It was a real honored and privileged to be honored and serve on the Clackamas Community College Foundation Board for the past 30 years. I believe in what the College stands for and all they do for our Community”
