Our Community

Giving Back to the Community

Miles has been in business for over 60 yrs and located in this community 50 of those years.  We care about our community and take pride in our involvement.  Lowell Miles, CEO/Founder has served on the Clackamas Community College Foundation Board for over 27 years where he has established an endowment producing 6 scholarships for the community.  He was also the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce Past President two times. 

Lowell also sat on the Oregon City Historical Society Board.  Lori Olund President, helped establish Clackamas Academy of Industrial Science High School, where she has served on the board since its inception and is Past Chair of the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce.   Lori currently serves as the Chair of Oregon Manufacturers Extension Partnership, sits on the board of Oregon Business & Industry and the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition.  Merilee Hinkle Human Resource Manager is Past Board Member of North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce her Husband, Craig Hinkle, COO, is currently on the NCCC Board.  Miles has helped students of Parrott Creek Ranch build a canoe and has donated the canoe to the ranch giving the students opportunity to learn by manufacturing something.  Miles Fiberglass has helped over 200 Boy Scouts receive their Composite Merit Badge by building Carbon Fiber Walking Sticks, Canoes and Skimmer Boards.
