Message from the CEO, Lowell Miles

Lori Miles-Luchak, President

Lori Miles-Luchak has grown up in the composite business. One of three daughters of Lowell and Janet Miles, Lori graduated from Portland State University with a double major in Marketing and Psychology. After several years in sales and marketing for an athletic club, she joined the Miles Fiberglass team in 1983. Her responsibilities include: Overall business strategy, overseeing marketing, public relations, environmental and government regulations. Lori received her Certified Composites Technician status in 1999.

Active in community and industry relations, she is past President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Society of the Plastics Industry and the North Clackamas Country Chamber of Commerce. Lori sits on the advisory board of the Oregon State's "Austin Family Business Program", a board member of the Clackamas County Business Alliance and the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition, and Metro's Open Spaces Advisory Board. Lori writes a column, "Reinforced People", for the American Composite Manufacturing Association's international trade magazine and sits on the advisory board for that magazine. Lori resides in Happy Valley with her husband, Joe, and two teenage sons, Alex and Justin.

Joe Luchak, General Manager and CFO

Joe has more than 35 years experience in the financial and banking fields. A graduate of Eastern Washington University, he holds a degree in professional accounting. After 15 years in the consumer and real estate lending field, Joe worked for TransAmerica Title and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation before moving on to Key Bank, where he was chief loan officer for all consumer lending in Oregon.

In 1989, he joined Miles Fiberglass as General Manager for its Tiara Spas subsidiary. Today, Joe is the company's Chief Financial Officer. Joe received his Certified Composites Technician status in 1999.

Joe sits on the Board of Directors for Willamette Falls Hospital and is actively involved in the Clackamas Rotary. In 1996, he received Clackamas Rotary's "Outstanding Rotarian of the Year" award and is a "Paul Harris Fellow." Joe resides in Happy Valley and is married to Lori, they have two teenage sons, Alex and Justin.

Craig Hinkle , Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O.)

Craig has been with MFC for over 30 years. Craig has a broad background in fiberglass and composites production. Having worked nearly every job there is on the production floor, Craig makes sales calls, cost estimating, as well as engineering and designing of new products. As Chief Operations Officer, Craig oversees production and offers technical support to our customers including performing service calls if needed. Craig earned his Certified Composite Technician certificate in 1999.

Craig is married to Merilee and together they have three grown children, Steven, Lindsay and Ashley and 6 grandchildren. They reside in Molalla.

Merilee Miles-Hinkle, Human Resources Manager

Merilee joined Miles Fiberglass in 1994 in the Human Resource Department and is currently the Human Resource Manager. She is the middle daughter of Lowell and Janet Miles and has "grown up" in the business. Merilee is involved in the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce. Merilee is married to Craig and resides in Molalla. Together they have three grown Children, Steven, Lindsey, Ashley and 6 grandchildren.

Bob Kelso, Operations Manager

Bob has been with MFC since May 2009. Bob has over 34 years of extensive experience in management/supervision in all phases of production and product distribution, the last 14 years have been assigned in upper management in all phases of plant operations. Prior to working for MFC Bob was employed 14 years as a Plant manager/corporate vice president for Molded Fiberglass, 20 years as a Production & Tooling Manager at Attbar Plastics, 1 year as a General Contractor for A&C Construction, 1 year as Sales Representative for Regency Distribution Co., and 2 years as a Foreman for Pacific Supply Co. Experience like this has been very valuable for MFC in operation management. Bob also has extensive knowledge in all phases of lean manufacturing and some Six Sigma.

Bob enjoys Bass Fishing, sports, and spending time with family in his free time. Bob resides in Washougal, Washington.

John Aiello, Engineering/ Project Manager

John has been with MFC since September 20th, 2009, but has been a consultant for the company since August of 2008. John has a 15 year background as an Engineering Manager/Product Engineer specializing in the design and development of all disciplines in the manufacturing of high line recreation vehicles, as well as custom home designs. Disciplines included: Chassis development, Composite development, Structures development, Mechanical/hydraulic slide out system development, Architectural component development, and lastly plumbing and gas systems development. John has attended the University of Phoenix majoring in Business Management and Oregon Institute of Technology, majoring in Software Engineering.

Coaching and teaching is a passion for John, and he has enjoyed coaching youth baseball, football, softball, and basketball teams for the last 5 years in his free time. John has 2 children and resides in Tualatin, OR.
