Founded in 1963, Miles Fiberglass and Composites is a family owned corporation with plants in Oregon City and Portland, OR. MFC has nearly 50 years of experience in the fiberglass and composites industry. We are dedicated to providing our customers with quality products that meet or exceed their expectations.

Miles Fiberglass and Composites Company Background
The Miles Fiberglass & Composites industry story began at the 1957 Portland Boat Show where, at the time, 19-year-old, Lowell Miles became captivated with a 14 foot fiberglass fishing boat (a glossy standout amongst the wooden boats on display). Lowell convinced his father to tear down a barn behind the family’s cabinet shop and replace it with a fiberglass workshop. From that lone event, Lowell embarked on a lifelong career that has included expansions, relocations, restarts, innovation, industry leadership, building a family business and, above all, the satisfaction earned from hard work and acknowledged success.

At Miles Fiberglass and Composites a number of processes are available depending on the clients need, budget, and project. Processes include open mold spray up, vacuum forming, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, light rtm, and hand laid fiberglass.

Miles Fiberglass & Composites, INC. (MFC) has the proficiency and familiarity necessary to assess each blade, nacelle or hub damages that occur on any wind turbine in the country! Specializing in a rapid organization of teams from hand picked technicians, we handle the logistics, inspections, repairs, and maintenance so you can keep your blades turning.
